Konrad Friedel about his work:
“I love beauty – so it naturally is a pure joy for me to express my feelings through my creations. There is no clear recipe for beauty, it is a vague concept, but I adore the experience of composition and the challenge to always try to find a balance between the multiples parameters available such as material, shape, proportion and color.
The foundation of my work is clearly handcraft. It is all the knowledge that I acquired through the years with the different material and tools that gave me the ability and inspiration to always develop myself.”
Konrad Friedel über seine Arbeiten:
„Ich liebe die Schönheit – deshalb ist es für mich eine reine Freude, meine Gefühle durch meine Kreationen auszudrücken. Es gibt kein klares Rezept für Schönheit, es bleibt ein vages Konzept, aber ich genieße die Erfahrung der Komposition und die Herausforderung, ein Gleichgewicht bei den Multiples zu finden zwischen den verfügbaren Parametern wie Material, Form, Proportion und Farbe.
Die Grundlage meiner Arbeit ist eindeutig das Handwerk. Es ist all das Wissen, das ich mir im Laufe der Jahre mit den verschiedenen Materialien und Werkzeugen angeeignet habe, das mir die Fähigkeit und Inspiration gab, mich immer weiterzuentwickeln.“
